MAW Enterprises Pvt. Ltd, the official distributor of Yamaha for Nepal, has officially launched the Yamaha FZS V3 X-Connect with Bluetooth connectivity in the Nepalese market. The FZS V3 X-Connect has been priced at Rs 3,79,900 for standard colours (Matte Red, Dark Matte Blue, Vintage Green) and Rs 3,84,900 for the Dark Knight shade. The bike offers 'Yamaha Motorcycle Connect X' Bluetooth connectivity application support for various utilities.The newest edition of the Yamaha FZS gets a new LED headlight, a newly designed muffler protector, and a lower engine fairing. In addition, the Vintage Green edition gets vintage graphics and a new leather single piece two-level seat. The major highlight on the motorcycle is the addition of the 'Yamaha Motorcycle Connect X' Bluetooth connectivity application which provides several pieces of information like Riding History, Locate My Bike, E-lock, Parking Record, Answer Back and Hazard notifications.
Apart from the addition of Bluetooth connectivity and new graphics, the bike also gets a BS-VI compliant 149 cc SOHC, two-valve, single-cylinder fuel-injected engine to generate a maximum power output of 12.4 bhp at 7,250 rpm along with a peak torque of 13.6 Nm at 5,500 rpm. Braking duties are done by disc brakes at both ends. A single-channel ABS comes as standard.
Commenting on the launch, Mr Raju Chhetri, CEO-MAW, said, "Apart from the addition of the X-Connect Bluetooth feature, the bike also gets a BS-VI compliant engine, a single-channel ABS, a 140mm wide radial tire, and side stand engine cut-off feature. Also, the bike now weighs 135 kgs only. Yamaha’s FZ series has been able to win the hearts of Nepali biking enthusiasts by providing customer-centric features. We believe that this time too, we will definitely win the hearts of Nepali biking enthusiasts."Yamaha Nepal offers thirteen Yamaha bikes in the country. , MT-15, R3, and the XTZ series of motorcycles. Yamaha motorcycle's price in Nepal starts at Rs 2.24 Lakh for Yamaha Saluto and goes all the way up to Rs 9.24 Lakh for the Yamaha R3.
